Under the baton of Alexander Bloch, the closing concert of the European Union Youth Orchestra’s Spring Tour of Belgium sees the Orchestra perform in Wallonia with French pianist Jonathan Fournel, first prize winner of Belgium’s 2021 Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition. The concert will be accompanied by a free-of-charge, pre-concert talk by Musiq3 journalist Camille De Rijck: La place de la musique dans la construction d’une identité européenne (‘the role of music in building a European identity’).
